Nothing particularly about 0111 or 1111 as per their records.

So we must all wait for the flow. Hopefully the flow is favouring us.

Pre Feb 2008, pre June 2010, post june 2010

Nobody got any good news for the past two months.

A few people who got medicals by the end of June 2011, were in process for over six months.

We are still in the dark. But the website comments were to process our files and bring down the backlogs

Believe that we should be positive and wait for things to move fat.

FAIR ENOUGH.

@mogboy

thank u sir.

they have no information whatsoever?

it would be better if you only try to read between the lines.

regards

@Anil-India,

I was really surprised by the response from the information request. It's hard to believe that they are not in constant contact with the visa offices. Still I am not taking on the government and will have to accept their word. I'm sorry if I raised false hopes.

The Toronto Star has mentioned that immigration has slowed this year but they kind of alluded to it being incompetence rather than something more sinister.

I wish I could be of more help.

mogboy

you did your best and we all appreciate your kind efforts :)

laklak

congratulations bro,wish you great luck and success :)

3 post june applicants got medicals last week and their process was begun in june 2011 only.

Post june 2010 applicants are moving smoothly a little slow perhaps from last one month.

Thread 1111 and 0111 who have submitted docs in delhi CHC Only 2010

Hi All,

I Was Mail To ND Office regarding My status They Said Below. Is It Take 2
Year For Finalize?

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Since you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period. However, If you wish to withdraw your application, you may be eligible for a refund of your processing fees.

* Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

* During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

* This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

So, probably for starting the processing of Pre June applications, VO's may take another 3-4 months?

@Mogboy

Thanks for ur efforts. However I think a more generic question for all 38 NOCs between Feb 2008 and June 2010 might have elicited something more relevant. I personally don't think NOC-wise instructions would be issued by CIC.

@KDSTTL

I guess we can only estimate the time to be taken for pre-June applicants, I am not really expecting anything till next year ::)

Rgds,
DBag

@dbag,

You could well be correct, but I did put the proposed wording up on the blog for suggestions before sending the letter which I had to hold because of the postal delay. Pity we didn't have your insight then.

Wen CIC can accept applications and grant Visas on NOC basis, then there shud not be a hassle in providing infos
as per various NOCs.

they provide database of NOC wise 'applications received in a given period' as well.
they organise the 'Visas issued' records, based on the NOCs.

it s the NOC which enunciates and categorises, if an applicant is needed in Canada !

hence, they could have given insight on 0111/1111 as well. pity we were nt lucky enough this time.

a generic reply from them, shud not stop us to file another ATI, be it two new ATIs.

what shud be the target area, can be discussed further.
for example-
1. Feb 2008 and June 2010 applicants in all the NOCs.
2. repeat ATI on NOC 0111/1111.

@Mogboy,
Unfortunately I was travelling around a bit at the time you posted the draft on the blog and did not comment on the same. Also I am not too clear about how Canada's AIA (Access to Info.) works and you had mentioned previously that the Canadian Govt. official who phoned did not have a clue as to what is meant by NOC 1111/0111 :o ... here also we have some thing called RTI (Right to Information) which has been introduced somewhat recently to prod lazy/corrupt Govt. personnel into action which has sometimes led to shocking results . Anyway, I am digressing and as I said, your efforts are really welcome though as Anil_India said, we can try again if anybody is keen to take up the effort :)

@Anil_India,
I believe that another AIA/ATI query on same NOCs 0111/1111 will give the same result, however Feb 2008 and June 2010 applicants in all the NOCs for all CHCs might be opted for. Also as some members of both pre-Feb 2008 and post Feb 2008 on this forum have mentioned, lawsuits against CIC through reputed lawyers might be another option, though they might be expensive and time-consuming. I think some pre-Feb 2008 ppl. in Hongkong have already started legal action recently.
