Congrats CBI. Wish you the very best.

Just one thing.. Did you go thru an agency or did you submit the docs directly to CHC ?? I have noticed going thru an agency is kind of delaying the whole process ?? Any idea??

Cheers,
GIBALA

Thanks for the wishes
I have applied through agency and I am sure that will not affect our processing time

All the best to you too

Thanks a lot buddy and all the best to you too

In other threads you can see people with different NOC code whose file transfer date was May 2010 and still asked for Medicals.

Our NOC is still in the mid half of February 2010.

Very sad and frustrating.

Why this discrimination.

hi KDSTTL
I THINK CHC NEW DELHI IS GIVING PRIORITY TO THE PROFESSIONS THAT REQUIRE URGENT ATTENTION, TO BOOST THE CANADIAN ECONOMY.
WHEREAS I THINK FOR NOC 0111 AND 1111, THEY HAVE ISSUED ENOUGH VISAS IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2010, AND THERE MAY BE A FLOOD OF PERMANENT RESIDENTS WITH NOC 0111 AND 1111, CURRENTLY IN CANADA. THEY ARE DONE WITH THE QUOTA OF NOC 0111 AND 1111 FOR 2010. BUT AS IT IS, THEY WILL DEFINATELY DECIDE ON OUR CASES IN THE NEW YEAR. ATLEAST WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE APPLIED BEFORE THEIR DEADLINE DATE OF 26TH JUNE 2010.
KEEP UP THE HOPE

Hi..

Lets hope for the best in the coming week(s) ..and in the NEW YEAR!!

Now when one's impatience is wearing thin...one always resorts to various means so that one hopes that one's application would get processed quicker.

Same here...as far as I am concerned. I quote below one of the paras from the 2nd AOR dt.09.08.2010 I received from CHC. It goes as follows:

Processing Time

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to, require an average of 8 months to process at this office. If you have not received any instructions from this office
3 months after you submitted your full application, you are requested to contact this office directly.

What does this mean? I think all of you must be having the same thing in your AORs too.

Yes, this is a standard format. Now the timeline is changed, you can contact after 8 months of full docs reached at CHC not after 3 months.

That means after 3 months if you will send a case specific inquiry, you will get a standard reply from CHC that not to contact unless 8 months have been passed. Total procesing time of file is increased to 10 months from 8 months.

Wait is the key.... now mid feb (as per file transfer date) is runnig.. you may get update hopefully in January,2011.

CHEERS & ENJOY LIFE IN INDIA :)
