I got My Medical On 7Jan.I have Confused about My Passport issue.I done my Medical on my old Passport (16Jan) .but i left 3 months validity on my old passport.Now want to reissue my passport but after reissue my passport name is change because Passport officer said reissue passport issued with your spouse name after Marriage.After reissue New passport any delay on my file.I already done my Medical and PCC. Please guide me.

as per my opinion it is applicants option to use the same name or changed name. Only change is spouse name column will be filled with spouse name in the passport which was empty previously.
I think it is not a confusing matter

Hi Mahadev

As per my opinion there is no issue. Go ahead. While you submit documents,RPRF and PP's you should intimate in writing to CHC about this change inorder to avoid further confusion and saves time.
