"Segregation" is the word for this process. :)

What is this segregation process? Is it done @ NDVO only OR at all VO around the world?

you asking me? mehulca :)

ok. it s the thing which is happening with applicants of our thread and a few other NOC @ NDVO.

i do nt follow threads of other nations.

it appears, NDVO is segregating the files as per the dates they first reached at CIO, sydney.

thats why some are getting new alerts in eCas s, and some are not.

Good news for pre Feb 2008

Any chance for additional delay in processing for pre-juners files because of this? Any guess?

correct me if i am wrong .

YWCDI

That depends on the initial application date...

Mostly, people applied from Jan to March 2010 will receive MR in 2012, though finalization may happen in 2012 or 2013, and the remaining who applied from April to June 2010 will receive MR in 2013 (don't know about finalization, 2013 or 2014)...

Yes Anil bhai...you are right....and that too based on initial application date to Nova Scotia...

People still believe processing is done based on 2nd AOR....they will know the fact over time....

Processing times have been updated....NDVO increased from 18 to 23 months...

If I remember correctly, two and half years back when I joined this forum applications were being processed according to 1st AOR date by NDVO.

Somewhere during May-June 2010 they started processing according to 2nd AOR.
