Dear all,

To clear the confusion between Cases vs Persons visa quota confusion ,
i have one logic in provide, in CIC data release they have given

Link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/statistics/data-release/2011-Q4/index.asp

They have calculated inventory in persons i.e around 160,000 for FSW ,

But if look u look at total cases pending of FSW (excluding pre 2008) are 58860 (source : www.data.gc.ca)

So iff the visa quota is of cases , they wouldn't have bothered to show inventory levels in persons , they would have shown in cases only

Lets put things Like This

1) This much in depth analysis will not increase the speed of our processing nor will it take any One any where but definitely will increase our stress level

2) The Number of Visas issued is for Units and not individuals when CIC 10000 visa it means skilled visa
spouse, dependents are not accounted for in the Visa
When No of persons are mentioned it is for the purpose of head count to evaluate the burden the Infrastructure is going to face.

3) The Quota has Increased for The Indian Sub continent this year.

4) The quota for MI starts on jan 1st every year

5) Quota for later MI starts from June 27th

6) Even if a new MI is introduced the speed of processing will be effected ,numbers wont be effected

7) Importantly all applicants who have a Reviewed date are most likely to see the Canadian Winter this year

apart from This any kind of discussions /analysis/statistics evaluations is doing Injustice to your time

Enjoy Your wait

Nice Saying bro....... you always write to the point..... :-X

@DBC

Yes yaar. Even I do believe that most of us will be in Canada this year itself. And also I still believe that it may happen in the first half of 2012.

It will happen in the first half for all who applied by or before END MARCH 2010

Nice Post.

Rightly said that all applicants with In Process Date are likely to be in Canada this year. So nothing to worry, our turn will come soon. It's matter of time (how much we don't know, but it will definitely not be later than Dec-12).

I got an email reply today from NDVO regarding my correspondence address that they have handed over the information to the concerned department (probably ECU).

I had sent the letter in Feb 2012 that my correspondence address has changed. They seem to be working better than before.

Good.
They seem to be replying to our querries it seems.

Hi All,

Good Day!

I have been a follower of this forum since June 2010 since I made my application.

I got IN process In Feb with the processing date as Feb 13 2012.

But yesterday when I checked my Ecas status says Decision Made but the details inside are the same as IN Process.

Not additional line has been added like " A decision had been made and all...

Is this a system error?

Please advise.
