congrats buddy..
BTW today u got an update? If i am talking abt general mail recd by you... i should say all the applicants will be processed not before their FTD & they will be finalized latest by docs submission date, this is my observation only

Dear friend
One thing i have observed here that my actual processing start date is exactly after 18 months from the date of 2nd AOR ie 23/08/2010

That's a good sign that u got in process within 18 months, mine took 20 months for actual in process .
In short one should expect update within 24 months from 2nd AOR.. this is what I believe, other throw some light...
Honeyjack :)

I think 24 months timeline is for getting the decision made on your application, and not for getting update.

I would advise all the people who got the In Process with Processing date should apply CAIPS
Our assumptions may are may not right but CAIPS should be giving some clarity on our cases.
It will take couple of INR thousands, I have applied that, I will share once I get the same.

I have applied for CAIPS. Almost 2 weeks back. My IP date is 19th Jan 12.

Correct 18 months to real In process and 24 Months for completion

Thats the first impression ,

Also has a Long discussion with my consultant the other day on WHAT NEXT

I am given to believe that Once the processing date is mentioned -Ve decisions are extremely scanty

If you are talking about "Sadika," she said medical results have been received and not MR.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Dear KDSTTL,

If you are talking about Sadika, (S)he has filed another application in MI-3 and got MR for application under MI-3. (s)he withdrew pre-june application made eariler.

You are right..

agreed totally but they may take 2 years or more for final decision.
I have completed 22 months from docs submission but only got real in process in january,12, till date no update.
Now if i assume 24 months for final decision they must have to issue MR before 45 days of my docs submissio date, means in this week only :)
that's why i assume that they will take more then 24 months to finalize the case...
I hope i may be exception, who has been processed very late
Honeyjack :)

= Submitted form to local police station(don't ask me which)
enquiry completed and asked to submit to DC office
5th March,2011 = Did the needful (as 4th March was Sunday)
6th March,2011 = Asked to collect the PCC
