I think we shud remember that NDVO slowed down processing of pre-June apps drastically from Feb-Mar. of this year. :-X Therefore the 80% cases referred in the list might be mostly post-June apps, who were processed comparatively much faster (hence the time-period has increased by only 1 month)

Dear dbag,

The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011.

Processing times for applications received on or after June 26, 2010 are unavailable as sufficient final decision data does not exist
.

Above two lines are taken from cic.gc.ca for processing time link.
So, as per instructions in processing time webpage, it does not include Post June 2010 applicants.

Hi truthseeker4pr,
U are right, I might have missed the 2nd line referring to the unavailability of data for post-June apps. Anyway I hope and pray that all our files are processed quickly and that CHC ND has posted correct info. (which is slightly doubtful due to large no. of pre-June apps. waiting for a long time). Also let us not forget that 250 applicants have already initiated litigation against CIC on Oct. 28 (I don't know how many pre-June and post-Feb 2008 applicants from NDVO are in the 250).

Hi Friends!

I think the period of 16 months for New Delhi is encouraging for all of us. The reason is that it is at par with Manila office. As we all know, manila has issued 3-4 MR to pre-june applicants in the last 1 month. Looking at the said trend, some of us can expect MR from New Delhi very soon. What others say?

It will be unfair to calculate time frames at par with Manila,Cause N DELHI has the highest No of applicants after china

We cannot expect the same speed as that of Manila ,however the developments of this Tuesday are definitely encouraging and show positive developments

Here is the catch,

The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices outside Canada. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. Processing times are subject to change.

Processing times for applications received on or after June 26, 2010 are unavailable as sufficient final decision data does not exist.

Above lines are taken from cic.gc.ca processing times webpage.

The data includes applicants who got visas, hence those who got visas had an average 16 months wait.
It does not say anything about how long applicants are waiting at the moment.
Say for example there is total 1000 applicants and 250 got the visa in 16 months time. remaining 750 are still waiting for more than 16months to 20months to get the visa but these 750 will not be counted for processing time calculations. It only indicate what happened than what
will happen.

But nonetheless mass IN PROCESS with RBVO on 1st November is very encouraging. One thing is for sure they have touched our applications recently.

Wonder when they will touch my file :D :D :D
