Yes well. here we are, unfortunately. I'm preparing myself for another 3-4 months of a wait.

Plus I would not want to move to Canada in peak winter. So moving to Canada next summer looks more realistic at this point. 2020 is the year !!

Just to compare notes, were you FSW_O India as well? What did your timeline look like? Any idea why it took them a year to process your PR?

I was EE PNP inland. Our application had some complication which led to RR. Also I kept sending them LOE after LOE so I believe that the LOEs contributed to everything.

They approved my case with one week remaining on medical. However they extended my medical by one year. Best of luck.

Hm.. My medical is valid for 2 months more but CIC asked me to redo the medical.

It’s up to the IO what they do. They can ask you to redo the medical or can choose to extend it. What rules govern who they are choosing to extend is unknown. Best of luck.

Officially completing 7 months this weekend.

I honestly, did not expect to be in this position back in April 19 when they asked for RPRF and file moved to IP2. 6 weeks have gone and still nothing.
