Brother in your case, as CIC replied "investigations by other agencies which they have no control in" - have you found any reflection of this statement in your GCMS? Any pending notes on security?

Nothing. I have ordered new notes 10 days ago. Let's see. However, I am not optimistic.

GCMS notes are not of much help at this stage. Security part is always redacted and that's where these delayed cases are stuck, most of the times.

Instead, check with the security agencies involved in the background checks, i.e., CSIS, CBSA, etc.

Yes, there is. But I think, one should only contact these agencies if facing significant/unusual delays, otherwise it's just a waste of time and resources.
