Hi folks
Yesterday my medical status changed from passed to not needed at this time.I just want to know whether its automated,I mean does it change automatically if its nearing expiry date?
Secondly when can i expect a re medical mail?
I will appreciate if you help me out

Your medical status has changed automatically on reaching 1 year expiry. Now, if you request GCMS notes, it will show Passed - Expired.
Same happened to me. No new request (or an extension) so far.

For you, a new request will depend on when an officer decides to send one. Maybe, they will request new medicals once everything else is complete.

I submitted my e-APR on Nov. 8, 2016, and was just browsing this thread and it's terrifying! I've seen several negative reports about the SGVO in other threads as well. Do many of the people waiting for longer than six months have Singapore as their VO?

@apache5201 I am also in a similar situation. My medical changed from passed to not needed at this time on completion of one year of medical. No re medical, no communication since then. I believe IRCC is not sure how long it will take to complete the background check may be that is the reason they are quiet on it.. it is just a guess

May I know ur travel history, did u travel to Middle East or live in multiple countries , did ur Bg ever change to ip or gcms say eligibility met.

Guys i know there is no time frame for security check but what actually do they check during security is on going??My vo is Ottwa and last week i called to cic call centre and they told me everything is passed and met but they are waiting the feedback for my security check from third parties,and they told me it might takes one to two months and once they would have received the feedback then office will finalize my application.

I don't have military Bg. But I went to 14 countries on holiday and one as a student it's 9 months since AOR dou think my Bg has started or still will take more time

I ordered my first gcms around 5/6month... it said R10ok, A11.2 under assessment. Then I ordered it after 9months and with my uttermost believe after passing 50days they send me exactly the same game without changing a single page.yet I gave up spending on gcms.
