they are doing my BG check since 23 dec. my aor is 2 nov.

For all those who got PPR, I have a question:

Does it contains any thing related to validity of passport i.e. passport needs to be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of PPR?

My AOR is 2 november 2015 and passport expires on 07 september 2016. Currently my bg is in review and was wondering if my PPR delays more than 12 march, will they rejected my application or request new passport?

I spoke to the CIC call center last week and the agent told me everything is "passed" except the BG check which is still in progress.
My file has been in the process for 9.5 months now. Anyone here has any experience with delayed BG check?

my BG hasn't started yet at all.. for outland fsw, there is some indication that Bg in process means file is ready for visa., I guess it in not the case for inland.

I don't know what to say anymore.. this process just keep getting longer.. I really admire your patience

I didn't pass the six month mark yet, however I would like to know if there is any trend.
Those who didn't make it in six moths or less, did it take longer for you, because you needed to submit additional documents?
And did guys get refused even if they waited longer than 6 months or is the trend still that most of the people pass, regardless of the processing time?

dear friend, based upon my research on this forum, its unlikely they reject you once 3-4 months pass after AOR.

However I have seen 1 case who got rejected after 4 months due to PCC as far as i remember the reason.
