Hi guys!

This is my first post here! its a great community!
I would like to share my problem here & would like to hear from all the experts around.

Age: 27
Residence: Mumbai, India
Edu- Bachelors in Production Engg. - ECA Applied - awaiting Assessment.
Work Ex- 3 Years excluding 2 years of Internships
Planning to apply under Manufacturing Managers (NOC-0911) as last job was that of Production Manager in Furniture co.
IELTS - L7, R7, W6, S-6.5 OVERALL 6.5 - Reapplying again in June
Status - Very much Single (LOL)
Can certainly manage the Minimum Funds

My problem is that I would love to join the pool, but am unable to do so. Initially, the Come to Canada tool gave me a "Not eligible" message. But, I noticed that when I clicked YES for Relatives in Canada, (which I do have) I suddenly become eligible.

With the Ref Code in hand, I created an Express Entry Profile. I submitted the same application, twice, only to get another Ineligible message, having mentioned YES to Relatives in both the applications.

I don't really understand why do I get that ineligible email. While the CRS tool with my current Scores, suggests a score of 357. But at least I would be in the pool.. But as of now, despite a 6.5 in IELTS I am unsuccessful to join the pool.

Could the mighty experts of this beautiful forums please guide me.

Sincerely!

U need to work on ur IELTS then it will be above 400 maybe... also did you check before entering the pool that you are getting 67 pts or not....

Hi Folks,

My spouse is the primary applicant and entered the pool with 411. Got it revised to 421 with WES evaluation on my profile. Now will appear for the IELTS in June. May be it goes to 440+. However, in september it will get down by 5 points.

Created the profile on 5th April and then revised one on 9th May in the morning. OINP update came in the evening.

I dont think, we 400-450 holds any chance for the immigration at this moment.

Thank you,
Pawshi
by oinp update you mean you got a notification from Ontario to apply for nomination? I thought they had discontinued doing so.

Profile could be ineligible because of any of the following reasons.
- You do not meet the FSW minimum requirement of 67/100 (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp)
- May be you would have mentioned that you do not have an ECA for your foreign degree
- Did not mention the correct NOC (it should be under skill type 0, A or B)
- You have not mentioned the amount of funds as per the LICO cut-off
- You would not have mentioned the correct IELTS date or score (IELTS is valid only for 2 years)

Guys,

I have not created my EE profile yet as there is a delay in getting my ECA done. But I read a few posts on this thread where folks are saying that after getting ECA done and updating that in EE profile, they are hoping to get an increase in CRS.

My question is - just by mentioning that you have a certain degree do we get a certain score and once the ECA is done for the same degree and that is entered in the EE profile, the CRS increases? This question might be dumb, but as I have not created EE profile, I am not aware of how it really works.

Would appreciate if you guys could answer.

Thanks much.

Sometimes, yes.

Profile completed April 29, 502 CRS:

IELTS CLB 10
Two-year Canadian post-graduate diploma, assessed 4-year foreign bachelor with ECA
2+ year continuous part time foreign work experience with NOC
1+ year full-time Canadian work experience with NOC

Missed the cut out in the last draw.

I have entered Express entry pool on May 12, 2016 with crs score of 438

I have completed Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and got professional foreign working experience of more than 6 years.

My Ielts Score was Overall 8.0 Bands

Listening 8.5
Reading 8.0
Writing 7.5
Speaking 7.0

Is there any other way to increase my CRS score ?

Any help would be appreciated :)

For the primary applicant you need the ECA Report for your foreign degree to create and submit your Express Entry profile, otherwise, your profile would become ineligible.
