Dear All,

Yesterday i faced very embarrassing situation. Two people cames to my office from singapore visa office directly for investigate about me. they took interview my boss and after that me. It almost 2 hour they stay in my office and query me lots of question . This is very much embarrassing for me, coz i worked in a telecom company in billing department. General people is not allow in our dept. in that situation they came without any information and do query with my boss. I dont know what will be happen. they told me will inform me withing 6 weeks. But my question is i was not ready for that situation. Dont heard before this type of situation can occur. If i know then can be prepared for that. This is very prestigious issue for me right now in my office. I'm very much depressed and disappointed . This is my permanent job, so if i face any problem for that did they do any thing for me? I can try for several option that means is not they can do any thing like that way... In that situation what will my next step if they refuse me .

have any one face this type of situation?

Tell me. Whatever questions they asked were you able to answer them. See they came to see that whether you are working in your company or not. So 50 % battle won here. Rest will depend upon your answers.

Please narrate it here to give a better picture. Do not be upset. I know it becomes very embarrassing.

I dont see there ID card , But they told me they r from singapore visa office. at first when they enter in my office they ask to talk with my boss in reception. then receptionist ask my boss two foreigner want to talk with him then he gave the permission to enter in our floor. then they talk with my boss in conference room as we dont have permission to take any people in our desk. they talk withmy boss almost 30 minute, and about me, my designation, my work type, duty, how long i have there, who gave me the appoinment, how long did i take maternity leave as my baby born after my joining lots of question. then have the reference letter which is issued by my boss i submited from with my document. they show it to my boss. then they want to talk with me. when my boss exit from this room for call me in my desk that guys also came with him , did not give me any time to talk with my boss.thay directly ask me want to talk. then i ask him to some conference room. one lady and on guy two people did my interview. lots of question about my job type, designation, duty , how many people i handel, their name. all things they write down. they dont ask my file number, but i was very nervous i forgot their name. as all people is seeing in my office that situation. they talk with me almost 1 hour..they ask me how many process i devlop i told them but i thik they did not trust. they ask me to write some thing which i did. ami told them i 'm using programming language. the didnot understand. then i write some thing in their sheet. lots of things. i can not explain u what is happen with me. my boss is also very much angry on me. thay have my picture which i have submited, and the noc list. dont know what will happen. but i feel very embarrassed in my office right now.

Well it means that the Visa officer was not satisfied and was very doubtful about your work experience. So visit are made in such cases. But I think it will be fine. Trust me. Now the thing has happend and I would suggest you not to worry about Canada. Well about office I can really understand it is a embarrassing situation and some Canadian officials should know how companies work and some might not like this kind of walk in. But when we send the forms we accept that it is subject to verification. Do not worry and wait for the communication from CHC.

It is really embracing. They should inform your boss prior to they walked in to your office..this is just against the normal ethics.
As Rocky pointed out, we are subject to testimony what we have submitted but I think the testimony in this way is nonsense, un-cultured, provocative and biased.
Many doubts are coming to my mind, what they would do if both of you (you and your boss) were out of the office in the day? Do they refuse your visa?
I am sure many of us had applied to PR of Canada witout the knowledge to our bosses, therefore this attitude, tesitmony without prior notice should be condemned and should be stopped.
By the way, vncviewer, where are you from? Is it a stroy happened in Singapore?

I can not even imagine that a good visa officer who works for the glory of any country can do so..
yes... it is not a bad thing to take the information about our doc. but the way they did is quite embrassing... at lest they could call you, your boss , ask for permission and time to talk.....whom would thay visit if u and yr boss were out of the station?( As someone has already written)but everything has already happened and its over now so pls don't bother yourself and try to be cool in the name of god. you will get success.

I never heard this situation from Canada,but from Australian embassy this is quite normal processed. If ur answers matched ur Boss' answer then b happy, if not then im afraid that u should wait a lil.......
