Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all,

Today I received a fingerprint request for my wife. Although our family application local office is Ottawa, the letter was from St. Clair Avenue East, Toronto !!! is this normal? also, the letter stated that it is the second and final time to request the fingerprints, its weired that its the FIRST time ever we recieve it !! the letter states that "THEIR" records indicate we have been requested to send my wife fingerprints before and didn't hear back from us (BULLSHIT) .. they didn't send any stupid request before, this is a new game the stupid officers are trying to manipulate applicants, I guess!

I apoloize for the language, but its really weired!

A question here also, does this affect the whole family application timeline? or only my wife? just curious !

Relax, be positive.

Just call CIC and ask them why you received the letter only once while this says it is your final notice. Maybe they sent it to your old address by mistake.

Yup, you are right .. thank you :)

Called them and the agent told me it is a standard letter so nothing serious at all .. they just want to make sure a rapid action from our side, which we did the same day submission electronically :)

Does anybody know how many months expected after figerprints to get invited for the test in Ottawa ?

now the application is non-routine as it will take more time. Its mentioned on CIC website that if you get fingerprint request then the application is considered non-routine.

Yup .. I know that .. yet, I see people get test invitation 3 months after fingerprints done at Ottawa :)
Just wana see if recent experiences at Ottawa in similar cases took less than that ;)
