Writing task 1

The line graph provides the comparison of every day demand for electricity in England during the peak days of winter and summer season. Furthermore the pie chart elaborates the consumption of electricity in an average home of England.
During winter people use more electricity than they do in summer and the highest usage of electricity is for the purpose of heating rooms and water.

As the graph depicts, demand is flactuating through out the day in both the seasons. The electricity is highly used at around 22 hours during winters that is more than 40000units whereas, in summers the highest consumption is around 13 to 14 hours of about 20000 units. During both the seasons, the requirement of electricity in the mornings from 6 to 9 hours is low.

As shown in the pie chart, the usage of electricity is divided into 4 segments, stating second highest consumption, 52.5%, of electricity is by ovens, kettles, washing machines. However, this is less than 50% units consumed by heaters.last two segments have equal proportion in the usage of electricity which is 15%.
