Hello all, I'm confused about what to put in Complete/full academic years" field.
I have an Engineering Bachelor degree. I completed my study in 4.5 academic yesrs, my ECA report says Bachalor degree (four years). I'm now confused about what to fill the "Complete/full academic years" field; 4 years as WES, or 5 years since no decimal point is allowed.
I have the same case for the Master's degree (1.5) years but WES as you know doesn't say anything about the years of study for the Master's degree like the bachelor.. Now I have these fields remainig and don't know what to put... please help!

Complete/full doesn't relate to wes. The wes part comes AFTER the "have you got an ECA? / Yes" and the new fields show up.

Thanks for your replay, put what about the number to be put? 4.5 is not allowed, the same for the master's degree

-elaborate in the Letter of explanation. in all cases the start and end date will clarify things even further without contradicting your information

ECA is to justify your degree base on Canadian standard. It has nothing to do with how you obtain your degree in your country.
Mean, you can study 7 years just for a bachelor degree in your country, but it is still equivalent to bachelor 4 years in Canada.

Hope it is clarified for you.

Thanks for your response, but WES doesn't specify years for the master's degree, I put 1 for the master's degree since they r asking for the complete tears so I can't fill the number 2 in the blank

I think ot doesnt matter how long u spent studying. I think they refer to the duration of the program, so i think it was either 4 and u took half a year more to finish or it was 5 years and u took extra courses in advance and finished it in 4.5
So just write the original program duration then u submit transcript which will clarify.. I believe its no big deal between 4 and 5 since their bacheolat threshold is more than 3 years program and thats what they care About
