Hi, I am newly PR of Canada, Became PR in May 2015.

I am working in US Company based on Permanant Contractor position.

The Company has given me the letter for attending the summit in US for 2-3 days, company is willing to pay all the expenses.

So what is the best solution for me, Should i apply in US Embassy now or should i apply now as currently i am in India for some wrap up my work, planning to go to canada next week.

what the chances of my visa approval for US

Thanks

Will you be traveling from Canada then back to Canada for this summit? I.e. Resident in Canada? If yes, apply for your B1 from there (Canada).

If you are still resident in India, apply there.

Your "chances" are indefinable. If you meet the visa requirements, you'll most likely get one. Pay attention to the details when applying, provide all required information/documentation.

Good luck!

I am PR in Canada and moving to Canada next week. So based upon your answer, I think it is wise enough to apply for US Visa from Canada itself, because my family lives in canada.

and i will be the only one going to attend the summit and coming back
