HI guys. Its not really visa related. Just curious if its ok to bring birth control pills in my carry on bags. thanks

I wouldn't put them anywhere BUT your carry-on bag! I have been back and forth to Canada several times now, and take a large amount of prescription medication, including birth control. I have always put it in my carry-on.

They say to always put prescription medications in your carry-on, because your luggage may be lost, but your carry-on will not be.

Bring it in your carry-on and include the prescription if you still have it. I don't know how many pills you can bring with you. By mail (from Germany) only a 3-month-pack was allowed.

I brought a 1 year supply without the prescription, had no issues.

When I traveled from Canada to South America via USA they wanted to see it. And on top of that they did a drug test with me. But that was the first time in my life and I travel a lot ;-)
