The worst mistake of my life was getting married in Pakistan

I got married in 2011 and if I had known the emotional turmoil and despair the sponsorship process would inflict on my wife and myself, I would have never got married in Pakistan.

Because of the inexplicable delay our career plans and our education plans and the dreams that we had are fading away. We were so full of hope when we got married and now we are older and bitter having spent precious moments apart.

CIC- stop pretending that you really care about family reunification because you obviously dont!

No arguments here. The wait in some countries practically guarantees that some marriages that might have succeeded will suffer and maybe fail because of the protracted time it takes to process the application.
