If you study in a recognized post secondary course of minimum 8 months/2 sem/1 acd. year from a recognized educational institution in Canada, which is participating in Off campus Work permit programme, then you can apply for OCWP after completing 6 months of actual study in Canada. With a OCWP, you can work for max 20 hours/week. Everything you need to find about work permits, study permits, immigration etc... detailed info you will find on official CIC website and provincial government websites.
