While it is good news that the strike is over, they now have the task of 6 months of backlog to catch up on. Question is this. Will they be willing to work overtime at time and half to remove the backlog at higher pay to make up for 6 months of no pay or just stick to working 9-5 M-F as business as usual, backlog be damned, it just means job security for them.

I totally agree with you. I don't think they will speed up working on the backlog - they just need more resources and time. But I guess it's not mentioned in their new contract.
