I hear you. And I know he is using my fear. And he is. Hopefully the PR will came fast nu, since we are so close to it now. And then I will do everything a can to let CiC get informed. Im so so sorry....and so sad today.....

Hi there.

Maybe you can report this doctor anonymously to your local Canadian Embassy or by calling Immigration Centre in Canada. OR wait for the results to reach the visa office and then report him.

Cbn Cdn

report him through crimestoppers, it is anonymous, you do not have to provide your identity but you may save someone else from this ordeal. If they open an investigation they may be able to send in an undercover agent, and even if they just contact the Dr to ask questions he may get scared and stop what he was doing.

all you do is go to this site and submit a tip. no names, no contact with you.

Okey guys. I will have a good talk to my husband and se which way to go. scared and sad........

Thanks for all your tips.

And if anyone else have had these done, please contact me though pm

That doctor just molested you. That's sexual assault. He must be reported. If you are scared to jeopardize your PR, at least report it anonymously. I'm very sorry to hear that you had to go through this.

I noticed that in the first post at the very bottom you mentioned that the examination was in Canada. If it was in Ontario, I would suggest you give a good read to this website:
www.cpso.on.ca/policies/complaints/default.aspx?id=1772

If it was from some other province, I am sure they would have similar process.

I'm so sorry to hear! :'( What you went through was horrible! Its a disgusting thing that was done to you. This makes me scared and I will definitely request that my husband be in the room.

And you have a right to have a nurse in the room the whole time. There should always be by law. Oh But I was so nervous that I didn't even think of that when this happened. Oh how I wished I ask for a nurse to come in......but I was in such a chock.....couldn't think

I think you should follow your instinct and wait before reporting him. Unless you complained to someone immediately after the medical you will be vulnerable to the accusation that you invented it all: that unfortunately is my experience of how the authorities (particularly the courts) react to a complaint of an indecent assault. If you did not immediately complain you will not be any worse off if you now wait until you get your PR visa. You have your post on this site which will help to establish consistency and that your complaint is not a recent invention. Subject to that I agree with those persons who have urged you to report the assault to the police and/or CIC. This man needs to be stopped from doing it again.

My wife did her medical in NYC and I was there the whole time except for the chest x-ray. And the doctor was a woman. I didn't even think much about it at the time but after reading that, I'm glad my wife's medicals turned out that way. Your husband should definitely be able to be in the room.

Even if it's a woman doctor..my whole life I've always requested that someone was with me...mother, sis in law, sister, husband. Just to be on the safe side...

I think you should inform the police about this incident. What he did was wrong. Plus if I am not mistaken, I thought doctors was suppose to have a female nurse in the same room to prevent incident like this.

You're indulging nonsense. This kind of man should be behind the bars immediately if this is true. This doesn't have anything to do with your immigration process. His medical license should be revoked right away. You need to mention the name of the clinic so the others will not be victims. I am a man sponsoring my spouse.

Please do cover what is uncoverable.

Thanks,

POLICAP

It's not your fault...and its natural to be nervous overall. You had no idea that would happen. (hugs) Was this a doctor in Toronto? I'm asking because I will have to do my medical soon :'(

I think you're going to be our Decoy to get this doctor. My wife told me a similar story but not to the point of getting to the area one.
That Doctor must have gone too far.

I believe this is in Toronto.
