Hey guys, I got my photos back that I used for my PR application. I'm so glad that they returned them to me, because they were high quality 4x6's and I worked really hard writing the descriptions on them as well.

sorry though youre a Filipino Bossjosh , I just wanna ask how did you receive your photos back , is it in a regular mail or express?

hello everybody. I have a question i submitted my application on 29th july 2013....i have exclusion order that expires on 14th of may 2014. do u think they will start to process my application after the expiration of exclusion order. does anybody in this thread has a similar situation?

If your medical is March 20, 2013 it should be March 19, 2014 for the expiration if the CEM extend it like 1-3 months it makes it April, May or June: 20, 2014. It would porbably May or June: 20, 2014 would be your visa validity, hence that you would leave the country before june 20, 2014 end


There's a new procedure that will allow medical validity to be extended if your application processing is completed within 15 months of the original medical exam and the only thing stopping your application from final approved and PPR is the expiration of your medical results (or ability to reasonably land within the initial year-long validity).

Officers will now be able to submit a request for an extension of the medical exam result validity (as long as they were done within the last 15 months) and they can extend them for an additional 12 months without the need for an additional medical exam. The details are on the CIC website.

Im not Fillopino, I am American. The photos were sent to my Canadian address, through regular mail. I sent a email about a month ago asking about my photos to be sent back, but I never got an email response saying if they will or not. I called them and they said that they just throw them away after processing. So I thought i wouldn't see them again, until the day came when my photos were in the mail.

They will return all proofs.they will only take the forms and original certificates. i brought an extra bag with me bcoz our proof weighed about 2kgs hehe...so heavy.

Anyways...how's your app?did you have your ppr already?
