I had to send my papers to Canada in a box because I couldn't find an envelope big enough

Now hubby is going to do the same, so I hope they don't reject our application as they say use an 9.5" X 12" envelope or something like that, but how in the world they want you to put the forms and the additional documents in an envelope that size? :-X

It's ok sis, our application also didn't fit in their prescribed 9.5" X 12" envelope. We placed it in a yellow bubble wrap envelope and sent it to CPC-M. ^__^

I've been seeing some progress on June Applicants. They've been receiving their AORs and SAs last week already. We are next in line , guys.
I am hoping to receive our AOR/SA before this month ends, or by next week perhaps. I hope you get yours as well real soon

Hey, Im doing good, been busy working, trying to stay that way too, ha. These days are going by so slowly, as I wait to hear my sponsors approval confirmation. I just want this to pass by soon, so I can up go there with my girl, ya know. Im still being strong and hanging in here, I havent forgotten about yal, I cant wait for us July applicants to start getting our notifications. Awe, taking things one day at a time.

Glad to find this thread. July applicant here . I am a sponsored spouse. My husband mailed the application on July 20, 2013. The CPC-M will receive it today or tomorrow hopefully. I can't wait to hear from them. I am bound to Aldergrove, BC. Medical was done July 24, 2013 and visa office: Manila, Philippines. I will keep you posted about my application. I wanted to be added in your July spread sheet.

Hey bro! It's been a long time, I haven't heard from you the past few days..you must be busy from work. By the way, I am a girl. I am mrs. alvaro hehe, and mr. alvaro is not so active here in the forum. My husband is just checking out the forums ahehehe.

Yeah, you should be excited. Your AOR will come in any day from now. And hopefully our SAs will follow quickly.

Hi Guys, I am here on the forum for the second time around. Now my wife has been here with me in Canada for over a year now.
Now we are applying for her daughter, who is in University in Sweden. We are going through the London visa office now. The application was received July 18. Yes, we did include her on my wife's application as well.

Ottawa – On July 23, 2013, the Honourable Tony Clement, President of the Treasury Board, made the following statement:

The Government of Canada has presented the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers an offer that is fair and reasonable to both employees and taxpayers.
Last week, the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers requested the Government enter into binding arbitration to end the union’s strike. The Government is willing to enter into arbitration, subject to certain conditions.
These conditions are subject to negotiation confidence and cannot be shared publicly. We will continue to bargain in good faith and we appreciate the bargaining agent’s efforts at finding a resolution to the strike.
It is important to note that Foreign Service Officers have unique jobs that cannot be compared to others. These jobs are substantively different from public service lawyers, economists or commerce officers. The Foreign Service also has no recruitment or retention issues.
Our goal is to have diplomatic, consular and other services to Canadians fully restored as quickly as possible. We continue to take steps to ensure the timely processing of visas.
