Thanks everyone for your wishes...

Does anyone know how long it actually takes for the VO to receive our applications? As I mentioned earlier, I have this name issue still pending. I sponsored my wife under her married name, but on the ECAS and on SA letter, they mentioned it as the birth name.

So I guess I will have to contact VO once they receive the application to clarify this. I called CIC and they accepted it is a mistake on CPC-M side.

I am new to this FAM thread I have been following lots of forum lately before I apply for my wife sponsorship and finally submitted the docs yesterday. I see it will take a while for the next stage. Hoping to see the strike will end soon and you guys get your applications process faster

Our application has been delivered today Aug 2! It left Manila on July 31 (2 day turnaround), pretty fast through LBC/DHL. Now the waiting begins......

I had the same felling as yours when I received our SA. It really is such a big relief that our files are already being transferred to our VOs.
