The delays of PR applications should be part consider part of 3 years of residency requirement to obtain citizenship.

why. Everyone needed 3 years to become citizen. (plus half the amount of time upt to 1 year if a person has valid status before getting PR is already account for)

Some of use have been waiting for the PR 3 years and more, and only 1 year is counted of that. It is not fair.

FYI - There was a similar petition around 10 years ago when processing times for some classes of PR applications was 5-12+ years. This petition was not successful. Of course there's a different government in charge now so who knows what will happen this time.

But you’re safe now, correct ? You’re living without fear, persecution.
I just take what’s posted here with a grain of salt . I remember a individual was accepted as a refugee and was indignant that an tooth implant wasn’t covered under the IFHP. You know , a tooth implant that cost me when I had it done , to the tune of $5000.
