The CRS 15 pts eligibility

Hello,
I have a question regarding the CRS15 pts granted for having a sibling.
The question is: Am I eligible for the 15pts if me and the person who is residing in Canada as a PR shared the same parents, but he was adopted many years ago by a couple of PR.
Can I get those 15 pts even if my brother was adopted by other parents?

If you and your brother share the same parent's name on your passports, then I do not see any problem, that's my personal opinion. Good luck.
