Hi
@legalfalcon
Sorry this question might have been asked before but I can't seem to find it.
I am CEC inland AOR April 10
Med passed june 5
Eligibility passed
Criminality - in progress
Background - check passed
Bio given Oct 5

I am traveling to India on Jan 10.
If I am in India and get the copr. Is there a way I can come back to Canada?
Or can I apply for the PR card, get it mailed at the Canadian address. Then ask a friend to bring it with him to India and then land in Canada?

I am so sorry for the long post. Just worried i wont be allowed to land in Canada.
Thank you.

If you get a COPR while you are in India, you can request IRCC to allow you to submit your passport at VFS India and you will get your visa and COPR there. Currently for inland applicants IRCC is only issuing COPRs via the new online portal for those who are physically present in Canada.

Do I have to explain that she did Not name me in her application because of the reason stated above?
No, you do not and cannot as it was not your application. You can just mention that she may not have mentioned your name because of {reason}. That is all. You cannot explain issues with someone else's application.

Hi @legalfalcon , I'm in the process of adding my spouse to my application after AOR (Feb 20, FSW-O) and I have some questions, hope you can help me.

1- IRCC asked me for my spouse photo but sent specs for PR photos of 70mm x 50mm (physical photos specs), which are different from the 420x540 pixels (digital photo). Which one should I use?

2- IRCC gave me 2 placeholders to upload documents. One for "schedule A" and one for "forms and package". But there is no way to fit everything in just one 3.5mb file.
A)Should I upload only schedule A in its placeholder? (Respecting the placeholder name)
B)or can I merge all forms in one file and upload all in schedule A placeholder? (so I can have more space in the other placeholder to upload as many files as possible)

3- in form 5562 for travel history, my spouse listed one trip to Canada (for studying) but came back to country of origin to visit family and friend in several occasions, should I list each trip? (This is confusing because it says you should not list travel to country of residence or origin. And in this case in Canada became temporary resident (study permit) and Mexico the country of origin that was visited 3 times while studying)

Thanks for the help

1. They are the same, you can use the specs for the PR photo.

2. If you cannot upload everything from the placeholders, you can send the documents via webform and in the placeholder upload a LOE that since the size of the documents is large, you are sending them via webform. You can send multiple webforms and in the description provide the list of documents you are sending.

3. To be on the safer side, list all travels instead of skipping anything.

called IRCC today and came to know everything has been passed including criminality that’s been pending for more than 3 months. It has been passed on December 14th. I am wondering how long will it gonna take to get final decision?? @legalfalcon any speculation on it ?? Please

I do not make any speculations. There are many applications that are currently pending despite all stages being passed. You will just have to wait.

Hi Sir

As i mentioned earlier I have paid RPRF fees last week and i just called client support and they mentioned that application has been finalised and decision has been made and letter is in queue.

she said we are not supposed to disclose the decision, is that usual or something i need to worry about.

No need to be worry, you can cross check by raising a web form as well.

That is very usual, IRCC will not disclose any decision over phone or over any other communication until a formal letter has been sent to you.

There are many applicants who are in the same boat, where all stages of an application have passed, and even through GCMS notes show approved, but they are waiting for a formal decision from IRCC.

The time between your payment RPRF and your decision was very quick. Just be patient and you will receive a PPR soon.

All the best!

Thanks, i will do that right away but it may take week now and seems like i may get decision communicated earlier than that.
All the best, web form responses are taking a bit longer than usual but put a request out there to see what's going on with your application and if you wish at sometime you can also request your Gcms Notes for free but do so from CBSA instead of IRCC to avoid potential delays.

For inland applicants IRCC is send will send an email and will ask yo to provide an email address so that your account can be created on the new IRCC portal:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/pr-confirmation-portal.html

After your account is created, you can verify your presence in Canada, and upload a photo for your PR card, and you will receive the COPR.

Some inland applicants have stared receiving emails in the last week.

It seems the IRCC COVID-19 backlogs were mainly caused by 2 things. The first was the inability to get people into mailrooms to open applications. The second is that IRCC apparently works in shifts using shared workstations, and there wasn't enough "equipment" to take home.
