Hello @legalfalcon why my application is not finalized even IRCC passed all assessment for me 3 weeks ago. I have not recieved DM or CoPR yet. Is there anything left after all assessment are done? How many more days it should take?

If you have passed all the stages, i.e. the following:

R10
Criminality
Medicals
Eligibility
Security

Then the final review is done, where it is seen that all stages are passed, all documents are valid, i.e. your passports and medicals and only then the PPR or COPR is sent. A lot of applications have been placed on hold due to COVID.

Many GCMS notes also have remarks such as COVID Pace etc.

Have you sent a webform or called IRCC?

Also, how did you make sure that all stages are passed?

Thank you. Well I called them on 9th Sept when I got GU and I was informed that my security was cleared (only security was pending for last 8-9 months because of covid). On 16th Sept, I got ghost update again and I called because there was no update. And till today there is no update so far. And I do have 1 INLAND dependent on file with me.

For the details explanation on what webform meets, see https://bit.ly/2FO6IYl

If you have any follow up questions, ask.
thanks @legalfalcon - I got my 3rd set of notes and Eligibility is finally PASSED! Definitely more clearer than the webform response. This is the current status:

I had my 3rd ADR on August 4th which asked for my spouse's and my updated Police Clearances. We provided these on August 6th. Here are some excerpts from the notes that stood out:

A39-41 refers to IRPA regulations

According to Section 39 or the IRPA, a foreign national is inadmissible for financial reasons if they are or will be unable or unwilling to support themself or any other person who is dependent on them, and have not satisfied an officer that adequate arrangements for care and support, other than those that involve social assistance, have been made.

According to Subsection 40(1) of the IRPA, a permanent resident or a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation:
  1. For directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of the IRPA [according to the Immigration Manual, admissibility for misrepresentation occurs only if it is material; the misrepresentation must affect the process undertaken by or the final decision of the immigration officer];
According to Section 41 of the IRPA, a person is inadmissible for failing to comply with the IRPA:
  1. In the case of a foreign national, through an act or omission which contravenes, directly or indirectly, a provision of the IRPA; and

  2. In the case of a permanent resident, through failing to comply with Subsection 27(2) [which states that a permanent resident must comply with any conditions imposed under the IRPR] or Section 28 of the IRPA.
Part 1, Division 4 of the Act makes distinctions based on categories of inadmissibility related to:
  • criminality;

  • organized criminality;
  • security;
  • human or international rights violations;
  • health;
  • financial reasons;
  • misrepresentation;
  • non-compliance;
  • inadmissible family members.
All GCMS notes will have A39-41, so no need to worry as long as you have submitted all documents and are in compliance with the law.

As regards security, it is initiated after eligibility is passed.See your notes in the last 3-5 pages. See my older post on how to see if eligibility is conclusively passed at #2,521

Hi @legalfalcon.
I created my EE profile and mentioned my non canadian exp as I needed one year skilled exp to qualify for FSWP.
I am waiting for ITA and meanwhile I have completed one year of skilled exp in 2 diff NOCs in canada.
My question is: do I still need to show non Canadian exp as I have sufficient points for CEC and with my PNP nomination?
My non Canadian exp has overlapping job duties and I am worried if that gets me into trouble for choosing wrong NOC.
Please guide.

You can use the CRS calculator and run the numbers. If you so not want to disclose your foreign experience and you can get ITA with your Canadian work experience, you can remove it.

Good morning @legalfalcon,
I would be extremely grateful for your thoughts on my application. Thank you for all your hard work.

I've just received my GCMS notes just this morning (AOR: November 9, 2019 - CEC, Inland):

ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Not Started
MIsrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

I have two questions:
1. Is it safe for me to assume that eventually, I am going to receive my PR? My current visa expires in May 2021, if I don't hear from IRCC until then, I will apply for a bridging permit so I am allowed to stay in Canada...
2. Would you suggest re-doing the medical on my own? The last medical expired in March 2020. I have seen a couple of cases where the applicants re-did the medical on their own and were granted PR within a month...

Thanks again for all your help.
Regards.

1. Check your notes in the last 3-5 pages, and you can then compare the with my previous post at #2,521
If your eligibility is conclusively passed, you need not worry, and it is just a matter of time before your application is approved.

2. If your medicals are about to expire, and if you are in Canada, IRCC is giving extensions for most applicants. You can either wait for IRCC to send you a re-med request or extend them, which is at the discretion of IRCC. You can also re-do your meds and send the upfront sheet via webform, however, that is entirely your choice, and either way, will not make any difference to the processing.

Thank you very much @legalfalcon - this helps a lot!
I've checked the couple last pages and it looks like the eligibility is conclusively passed so that's great!

The notes go as follows:

From what you have told me I won't be re-doing meds by myself. My medicals expired in March 2020, but I will just wait for IRCC to make a move on this matter.

One last question if I may - we are expecting a baby girl in late November (our first child) - due date is November 28th. When should I let IRCC know about this happy addition to our family?

Thanks again, you're doing an awesome job.
Regards.

Hi, @legalfalcon, I got an ADR two days ago that I need to submit my country of residence for the past 18 months for all family members in our application (myself and my spouse), the height and eye color of both and the passport scans. I uploaded all required documents the same day. The profile still says Your action is required but the review of additional documents now say NOT APPLICABLE rather than saying we are waiting for the documents to continue processing your application.

What does not applicable in this case suggest?

Hi, @legalfalcon

I submitted an application for an employer specific work permit as I hold a valid CSQ. I also have a valid PGWP.

I recently found my initial application for my PGWP (I thought I lost it) and found out there were discrepancies with what I wrote in my new WP application, now I am very worried.

1. In my previous application, I did not mention my dad's second first name. In my current application I wrote it. My dad would not accompany me to Canada in both cases.

2. In my previous application (PGWP), I forgot to include one small period of employment that I included in my new application (CWP)

3. In my previous application (PGWP), I wrote a different start date for one employment, an earlier date. The reason is, for my new application, I wrote the beginning date of my first pay stub, for the previous application I wrote the beginning date of the employment contract.

Would any of those be ground to reject my application or be a misrepresentation ? Should I contact IRCC to explain (the application is already submitted).

Thank you very much for your help I am very stressed right now.
