Hi @legalfalcon, Good Day.

I have few questions, which i wanted to check regarding our application.

My wife is the primary applicant for our application as she has done masters and I am counting on the fact that she gets positive response for her ECA from WES. I have the following queries :

1. My wife has done Masters in Physiotherapy, and later worked as Physiotherapist for almost 3 years, before switching to IT and SOftware where she has approc 2.5 years of experience till now. As both of them are in different Job NOC's , which one should she mention, the one having more experience or the one in which she is working currently. Is there any impact of this on her overall application ?

2. For proof of funds can we show Fixed Deposits certificate?

3. Can we show my bank account of some other country for the Proof of funds ? Is there any criteria that an account have to be atleast 6 months older ?

4. How much time does it takes on an average from our submission of documents after getting ITA, and final approval, assuming that there are no clarifications asked from IRCC ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Pankaj

@legalfalcon

Thank you so much sir. Could you please let me know, in the affidavit, if I need to explain that I have applied for an amendment and mention the correct mother's place of birth ? And also should I submit a LOE ?
Yes, you will also need to include the documents showing that the amendment request has been filed.

Yes i called cic and they said my security is complete.
I gave my medical on 14th december. When can i wxpect ppr? VO is Vancouver
After the security is completed, the report is submitted to IRCC. An officer will review it and update your file and then the file will be placed for a final review. After the final review, it will be placed in queue for PPR.

I cannot give you a specific time, but you should expect the PPR in 2-5 week.

I am not availing points for my work experience from 2010 to 2013 and hence do not have an option to upload that in work history
If you did not enter a specific work ex in the work history, you will not be asked to upload proof for that time frame.

Thank you for your reply @legalfalcon . Do you recommend that I work with consultant to help me with my EE application? Since I am in removal proceedings in USA.
Instead of a consultant, go with an immigration lawyer. A consultant is just a high school graduate with a few courses and he cannot represent you in court. Also his understanding of US immigration law would be zero.

Hi @legalfalcon ! I hope you're doing just great.

I wanted to ask whether there is any issue in doing inland landing (appointment) in Montreal IRCC office for EE FDSW inland?

My address is near Ottawa, but due to my studies, most of the daytime I spend in Montreal, so it would be more convenient to do the landing procedures there.

Thank you so much!

Hi, Legalfalcon. I am confused as to whether I will include my spouse's foreign work history pre-ITA since I'm not claiming points for it. However, there is a question when creating an express entry profile that states "Have your spouse any work history?" If I answer "NO" will that be considered as misrepresentation? Another option that has been suggested is to include it pre-ITA and then once I get and ITA, move it to Personal History and explain the move in an LOE. Which will work better? Thank you so much in advance.

There will be no issues. However, you may be asked about your address and as long as you have proof of address that you do not intend to live in QC, you will be fine. Also, the inland appointments are far and few available. So you may have to wait.

In the pre-ITA application you can simply answer no, since you are not claiming any points for your spouse's work ex., you can answer no. This will not be misrepresentation since you are not claiming points, and also there are no points awarded for your spouse's international work experience. However, post ITA, in your spouse's personal history, you will be required to list all the work experience.

There is no need for a LoE.

Before the PPR is issued, the files are queued and the PPR email is sent out in batches which may take a few weeks. Also, lately some offices have seen backlogs. So wait until first week of January to have things cleared up.

Do you know if I can flagpole through Lacolle border point in Quebec? I searched the internet but I could not get a clear idea of whether express entry applicants could flagpole there.
Thanks again for all of your help!

Thank you so much, @legalfalcon I have some more questions, first one is, for my bachelor and professional degrees, WES assessed them as “two year diploma and four year professional study.” I am planning to claim points for the four year professional study which, i believe, is equivalent to the points for a master’s degree. Is it okay if I only include my diploma and transcript for the professional degree post ITA, since that’s what I’m claiming points for anyway and not include any supporting docs for the bachelor’s degree? Second question is, does CIC ask for secondary education or high school diplomas and transcript? I can’t seem to find mine, unfortunately. It will be a big problem if they require these post ITA.
