@legalfalcon Sir,
I'm very confused about my case. Following is my timeline:
AOR: August 11, 2017 (EE Ontario PNP)
Medical Passed: Sep 6, 2017 (Status Changed to IP2 instead of IP1)
ADR of RCMP: Sep 6, 2017
Submitted RCMP: Sep 21, 2017
Status Changed to "We don't need any additional Documents": Sep 23, 2017
Status again Changed to "We need addition Documents to continue..": Sep 27, 2017
Applied for Notes and according to Notes:
On October 19th, 2017 at CIO Sydney, case agent added a note that "Job Duties don't clearly match NOC. Review required for Lead Statement. Review Required for Roles and Responsibilities"
On October 20th, file transferred to Ottawa.
After that nothing happened and after contacting my employer I provided a revised reference letter (Because my old reference letter did not list Job responsibilities at all) on Jan 3, 2018.
Applied notes again and According to notes,
Revised Employment Letter got attached on Jan 5th, 2018. Still no review by IRCC after Oct 19th, 2017
On Feb 6, 2018, Status of Additional Documents Changed to "We don't need any additional Documents..." (Last time it changed to "We need more..." on Sep 26, 2017.)
I called IRCC on Feb 9th, 2018 to know the status of my application and they said. "Your file has been transferred to London Visa Office yesterday i.e. Feb 8th, 2018".
Now I don't know what's going on. Why did they first transfer my file to Ottawa and then after 3 months, transferred it to London?

P.S. BG status is still IP2 since Sep 6, 2017, and I'm not in Security Screening. IMO that IP2 was a technical glitch because many people who were requested to provide RCMP got IP2. I'm more concerned about what happened on Feb 6th, 2018 when additional document status got changed and after 2 days file transferred to London.

One of my friend who was from FSW stream got the same treatment. Firstly the file got transferred to Ottawa in October (He also had an issue with Job Letter and he provided update Letter through CSE after getting GCMS), then he got ADRs for his Employment (Tax Returns, Bank Statement showing Salary) on Feb 4th, 2018, which he submitted on the very next day and on Feb 9th, 2018, his file also got transferred to London but his IP2 status changed to NA when he submitted ADRs.
If you have submitted a new work reference letter, then give it some time. After a documents is submitted, it can take 1-3 weeks for it to be even added to your file and processed.

Most applications are processed within 6 months and the 6 months time frame starts when the R10 is passed and not AoR.

So when you order you next set of GCMS notes you should see some progress.

Hi @legalfalcon,

I'm a Sep 2016 AOR CEC with all passed except for Security and I've been in SS since January last year (17). I recently submitted a resignation letter from a board position at a company in my birth country that I wasn't involved with at all and it was labeled as "Adm/ " (security) on the notes and I was also flagged an A41 non-compliance (not started).

I also requested notes from CSIS, they missed the deadline, I sent them an email and someone called(!) the next day and explained they needed an extension to seek some advice before releasing my notes!

Went to see an immigration lawyer, he said I'm in a "SS blackhole" and I should send a draft of writ of mandamus to both IRCC and CSIS and give them a deadline. I think this is an extreme measure and probably not useful as 18 months is not long enough for a mandamus.

My PGWP expires in a few months and they probably won't approve a bridge permit when I'm already in SS.

Do you think I should just wait and see what happens or do something proactively?
You should wait. A draft of writ is not going to serve any purpose. Give it some time and you should see progress.

Can someone throw some light on this please. Or point me in the right direction. My brother graduated from university mid 2017 and is currently looking for a job in his field.

Is it a paper based application after the nomination ? and is everyone given nomination when applying. Is there a quota and how many times does it open.

P.S - I have already been on the ontario Immigration website. I need more info regarding the processing times and general over view of the the process.
Have you created a profile and which Provincial nomination are you looking at? Each province has their own rules and processing standards. For Ontario of your CRS is over 400 and you are in the pool, you will receive a nomination.

Hello legalfalcon
I'm in SS. I recently left my job. Do I need to inform cic or its not necessary?
You should inform IRCC. Even though your eligibility is passed, but if IRCC needs to verify your employment, even though highly unlikely, they should be aware that you no longer work at the place you stated you would. This has no bearing on your application.

Hi @legalfalcon ,

I am landing in toronto as TRV upon LMIA Exempted WP basis...do i need to prepare list of goods or things i am bringing along as well? Or some form to be filled?
As a TRV no list is required. That is only for PR visas

Dear Legalfalcon,
I hope you are doing good. Need your help on the below issue.

I have filed a case in India to get divorce from my wife. It has been going on for a year now and sadly not much progress as it is the same all over India. We have been living separately for more than 2 years now. Can I submit an affidavit stating that I have filed a case and will CIC accept it as a proof of Legal separation??

What are the proofs CIC will expect for Legal separation?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
Mathan
Yes, you can file and affidavit and provide the documents you submitted in the court, as in the divorce petition, the last order sheet and the case progress report. That will be sufficient.

Dear @legalfalcon
Sir i.need ur help..ive got adr for passport biopage nd height nd eye color..actually i mentioned our eye color as black.wen.submitting application..bt i did nit.just follow providing standard informtion on blank paper..i just went to eye.consultant who has identified our eyes as brown..wat do u.suggest shall i upload that consultant`s letter or shall.i just explain in blank paper as black eyes wat i submitted in my application..plz m v confuse guide me accordingly..
First, black is a very rare eye colour. And even people who have black aye colour, it is because the blown is so dense that it appears black. So just go ahead an provide them your eye colour as brown, no need for the eye consultant's letter.

Hi @legalfalcon,

Its a ongoing theory that recently cic has removed the word security screening from gcms notes and only security is listed. Want to learn from your experience is it true? You may have come across many gcms notes between the period of 1st jan 2018 to date, can you confirm if its true or not i.e. cic has removed ss from notes and replaced it with security only? There are many people confused because of this. It will be helpful to all. Thanks!
Its all over the place. Most applicants under SS, still have it in their GCMS notes and this is from the most recent notes released in jan end and beginning feb.

You can apply for at airport too even when you are on TRV as long as you have all the documents.

@legalfalcon
My medical exam is expired and my medical status changed from " passed to "not need" 2 weeks ago.
IRCC didn't extend or request to re-do med again

How long does "Medical reassessment" usually take ?

@legalfalcon

I got my PCC on 26th October 2017 and I applied on 26th Dec 2017 (after 2 months I got my PCC), Should I renew it? will IRCC demand a new one through ADR?

It’s irrelevant, your eye colour has no bearing on your application so you have nothing to worry about. Just leave it as it is and no need to upload anything. Besides, that is not an ADR, it is a passport request which means your application has been approved. Congratulations
I also got ADR request...they have asked for English version of my local language based marriage certificate...
