hi, i had one question regarding the salary in the ref letter, as i had applied for OINP, my letter was dated in Nov and now from this month my salary will be changing, which would be reflected in the bank statement. In this case, I need a new reference letter isnt it? But would it contradict the one i had submitted for the OINP application?

hi there,
I am currently applying for letter of advice (MPNP). I have concerns regarding education documents and application. With EOI SW i have added my education history as two year post secondary certificate. I did BSN and 2 post graduate diploma courses which is 1 year each. How can I add all these information with this application. currently it says education history not matching with EOI SW. Please suggest me some options to correct this
Please provide more info.

Hi legalfalcon, I've just received my COPR and visa. My company is willing to relocate me to their office in Canada since I got my PR application approved, knowing that during the process of my application, they didn't sponsor me, nor had a LMIA. I'm wondering if I can I show a proof of employment (a letter from my employer stating that they are relocating me to Canada since I'm eligible to work now) during landing beside the proof of funds, and wether it'll be accepted since I didn't have a job offer nor LMIA in my application.

Thank you for your help.
You have to be employed with an organization to be exempt. If you are yet to join, that won't work.

Hi @legalfalcon,

After how many months of ip2 i.e. background check in progress one should order cbsa notes? I have been under this status for about 66 days. Security screening is not confirmed from my gcms notes. Although i have sec 15.1 and redacted activities and one page. To make sure its "ss" or not I want to order cbsa notes. Kindly advise is it the right time to order? Thanks.
First off, there is no stage as IP2.

Instead look at your GCMS notes and see if your have passed Eligibility. If you have and you have exceeded 6 months, which start from the day your pass R10, you can order CBSA. If you have exceeded 7 months, should you order CBSA notes.

You can use the same one or get a new one. It would not matter much.

Hi Legal falcon

Need a clarification. We got our ITA and submitted all our documents with LOE for FBI PCC. We were given time till 13th February, 2018 to submit it. My credit card got charged (normal method not edo) on 5th Feb,2018 and got a email confirmation that my PCC was sent for delivery on 7th Feb. I have given USA address for delivery to save time. Till now i have not received the PCC mailed by FBI. What should i do ? Do i need to reply using my account to send LOE seeking extension of 1 week time ? or can i raise CSE with credit card charging confirmation and FBI email ? Going really crazy. Is it mandatory to reply through my account using the link given to me for updating PCC. Experts please reply immediately.

You referred me to the link and I do not understand "he lowest-ranked score in the round of invitations" in the following: Which round of invitation? the one in which an applicant gets invited or the one in which he/she submits application online. I go ITA in october lowest rank CRS back then was 438, I submitted application in Dec, the lowest rank changed in december.

At the time of the e-APR, both the CRS scores are compared and one of the following scenario plays out:

  • If the applicant’s CRS score at the time of the e-APR is equal to or higher than the lowest-ranked score in the round of invitations, the application will not be refused as long as the applicant’s supporting documentation corroborates their claims and they continue to meet the MEC for Express Entry, including the requirements of the program to which they were invited to apply.
  • If the applicant’s CRS score at the time of the e-APR is lower than the lowest-ranked score in the round of invitations, the application will be refused under for not having maintained the qualifications that would justify the ITA.

No need to worry. FBI sends the PCCs by first class mail from its CJIS centre in West Virginia. Depending on the address your provided, it can take 3-7 business days. Since it was posted on 7th, you should have it in a day or two.

You can raise a CSE and seek extension. There is no way to communicate through your MyCIC account. You can even send an email to CPC Ottawa.

It is always the round in which your received your ITA.

Hi Folcon,

My AOR is 16th May 2017, CEC inland. (Its almost 9 months!!)
In 3th of November they ask me to submit CV and supplementary form.
My background check changed to " we are processing your background...." in 7th of December.
I did not order gcms note yet, how I can understand I am in SS or no?

Thanks

Folks, I received by GCMS notes today and its hard to make sense.. everything looks approved (background, experience etc) but still no movement on the application. can you help me understand what should I look at in GCMS to make sense out of it...

some comments from notes:

RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Pass M12 All .2: Appears Met R75: FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Appears
Met R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FSW POINTS/Funds: Appears Met FSW points total: 77 Ready to Finalize
RPRF: Complete

what should I make of this?
