@legalfalcon: thanks. Just today morning when i checked my account BGC says: we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information from you. Is it IP2. How soon i expect PPR email.
This whole business of IP1 IP2 is nothing but speculation. Instead see what stage of the process you are at. The stages are the actual legal steps your application goes through. To read more on different stages see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

Any progress or change in status is a good sign.

@legalfalcon, am currently at IP2 but my medical is still in review. Received a response from VO in respect to my mail on my status that the result of the medical examination is been awaited but I don't understand if it means from medical officer at Health Canada or panel physician. I ordered my gcms notes since 1st of August but am yet to receive it
They are awaiting the results from Health Canada.

Thanks for your response. Money was deposited cash in a few transaction, I have mentioned total amount in affidavit, shall I get another one mentioning specific transactions with amount?
Another query, I am getting contradictory views about this. My valid passport has no stamps and my previous 2 passports have many stamps on them. In instructions it says upload valid passport. Do I need to upload my expired passports as well?
No need for specific transactions.

No need to upload expired passports.

Dear @legalfalcon :

I received the PPR, which was forwarded to me by my representative as part of his email and not as an attachment. The PPR part of his email starts simply with date,UCI no. And application no. and after the details on how to submit passport ends with the statement that this letter is computer generated and does not require any stamp/signature.

However from what I have read on the forum, the PPR letter is always on letter head, whereas in my case there isn't any letterhead or IRCC logo etc.,and just a plain email. Should I just print the PPR part of the email and that is good enough or must it be on letterhead? Please guide.

Also, should the form asking info be filled in pen?
Pen or computer is fine. Make sure it is clear and legible.

Lastly, can the photographs be made by any professional photographer or must these be snapped at VFS office?
Any professional photographer can do it and no need for them to be stamped at VFS.

Please help me out with these confusions. Thanks.
PPR is never on a letter head. It is a simple mail with no IRCC logo. So what you have received is good. So just print the email and you are all good.

Thanks LegalFalcon for your help.
I have received PPR but the COPR lead time (from sending passport from US to CPC Ottawa and back) now is 1.5 months. In the meanwhile I have to travel to Canada on WorkPermit and join the employer and this can not wait for 1.5 months since I have resigned at my US employer company.
Please provide help in these -
1. Can I ask IRCC / CPC Ottawa to process my COPR faster ?
2. Can I request extension to submit passport and submit them to CPC Ottawa after I reach Canada on Work Permit?
3. Can I travel to Canada on Work Permit and ask for COPR at the time of entry.
4. When I travel on Work Permit do I need to inform immigration /CBSA that my PR process is goin on?

Thanks so much for help.

Cheers

Dear LegalFalcon,

My daughter's passport will expire next year, I would like to renew it due to a travel end of this year. We expect that we will receive PPR at the beginning of next year.
I have read that the validity of passport needs to be more than 6 months when stamping visa in it, so we will have to renew the passport latest after PPR.
May I renew the passport before receiving PPR or only after it? If I renew it now, shall I attach the copy of the new passport to my application? What is the process of it?
Thanks!

Dear Legalfalcon,

My AOR is June 2017. In the personal history section (Organization) I have mentioned the Membership of my spouse with American Institute of Architects and put USA as the location. The registration of that membership is done via online and did not travel to US at all. I also mentioned under the remarks/or activity field ( I could not remember exactly) that "Membership applied thru ONLINE only". I wonder since US is the country of that organization, will this be a ground for rejection since we did not provide any US PCC? Should I raise a CSE?

Thank you

You can, but expedited service is not provided.

2. Can I request extension to submit passport and submit them to CPC Ottawa after I reach Canada on Work Permit?
You can send case and ask for change in address and send it from when you reach Canada.

3. Can I travel to Canada on Work Permit and ask for COPR at the time of entry.
No, it has to be issued by the CPC

4. When I travel on Work Permit do I need to inform immigration /CBSA that my PR process is goin on?
Not required.

Thanks so much for help.

Cheers

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello @legalfalcon ,

I received additional document request on Saturday to submit "Travel History Form".
While uploading documents I gave details of all my travels (Between USA and Canada) except between Country of Origin(India) and Country of Residence (Canada).

In the document they are asking for "Travel History Info Form: Information on your previous travel history (trip duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information".

1. while submitting the travel history I cross checked in USA Border travels "https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search" website.
After submission of AOR I visited USA once. Do you think that may triggered the additional information?

2. I didn't mention the travel between Origin and Residence countries as it is not mandatory. This might be the reason for additional document?

Can you provide some info if you have any idea?

Thank you.

Dear @legalfalcon Thanks for all your help. Please advise on the following query:

I got nominated by OINP on 2 Sept 2017 and got ITA in the august 3rd draw. I am about to submit my application to CIC.

Although I am already nominted by OINP HCP stream, I am a little unsure about the minimum work experience eligibility.

OINP HCP stream says:
1. Work experience was in Skill Type 0 or Skill Levels A or B of the National Occupation Classification (NOC),
2. At least one year of your work experience was in the same NOC occupation, and
3. Work experience was obtained within the last 5 years from the date of your Notification of Interest from Ontario.

CIC says: Min 1 year of work experience in last 10 years.

My work exp. is continuous and both job NOC fall in ICT category as below:

- NOC 2281 - 7+ years (2006 - 2013) - Choosen as Primary NOC in EE profile and PT nomination is based on this job NOC
- NOC 2173 - 4.6 years (2013 - till date)

Do I meet the minimum work experience requirement overall as PNP Express entry candidate?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Many thanks!

Regards,
Che10
