Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello Legalfalcon
My AOR is March 23 and I received my GCMS NOTES few days ago. This is the summary
Eligibility- recommend passed
Security- not started
Criminality- not started
Medical- passed
While looking at the NOTES I saw that program analyst recommended pass criminality while doing my R10 however criminality still shows not started. I submitted all PCC.Why is that?
Thanks

Criminality is based on PCC, and if it has been recommended passed by the program analyst, then it is just waiting a final review by an agent, the same with your eligibility. It will be updated soon, nothing to be worried about.

Hi Experts, I haven't see any unique client identifier (UCI) in my express entry profile. I have completed express entry profile (a week ago) and job bank also.

Is there anything I need to do something? Please advise...

Dear Legalfalcon,
I've been reading the great guidance and advice you give to all forum members and just want to say that you deserve the very best for these selfless efforts!
I had a query myself and was hoping if you could help. I have submitted my PR application on 23 April. I go my meds passed on 20 June. Today, I got an additional docs request for "Travel History: Proof of travel history" for myself and my wife. I'm not sure what I need to submit as I had already submitted all the visa/stamped pages of my current passport when applying. I had not submitted copies of stamped pages of my earlier passport, is this what they're looking for? I have traveled to about 12 unique countries in the past 10 years, some more than one time so am really confused.
Thanks so much for your enlightened inputs :)

At the Case Processing Centre (CPC) the following happens:

a. Medicals
b. the program analyst reviews the eligibility and makes a recommendation.
c. criminality
d. BGC/security starts

After this stage the file is transferred to LVO, here the following happen:

a. eligibility is finally confirmed.
b. additional checks may be performed, contacting employer, financial institution all on case by case basis
c. final security report is received and updated
d. PPR issued.

Since the LVO deals with the eligibility, there are chances of rejection. However, if the program analyst has recommended passed for the eligibility, the chances are very low. See your GCMS notes.

There have been many technical issues happening with IRCC. Just wait it out.

On a paper write down the details of all the countries where you travelled and the dates. Then add copies of the visas, or departure and arrival stamps (from your old passport and current) in the order you list them on the paper. Also include the biographical pages of your old and current passport.

Ideally, you can divide your travel into old passport and new passport and just it accordingly.

Hello Legal falcon, my experience letter contains just monthly salary and not annual. Hope that's ok.
The reference letter should:

indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits;
<http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp>

If your reference letter has all this, you are good, even if the salary is per month and not annual. Not a big issue.

@kishorsankaran

Yes, you can give your friend's address at the time of landing and the PR card will be shipped, he can then either mail it to you or can travel to where you are and give it.

PLEASE - Messages only for personal questions that cannot be shared on the forum

The BGC starts after the eligibility is cleared. There is a trend where you will see the BGC of to in progress then to not started and then later again to in progress. A lot of people speculate it as IP1 > NA > IP2, and believe that IP2 is when the BGC actually starts. But this is speculation, which I would not get into.

If your medicals have passed, then the best way to keep a track of your application is GCMS notes.
Thanks for your reply. Could you kindly let me know how much time it takes for the eligibility to be determined or background check to be initiated after the medicals have been passed?

Eligibility is the biggest hurdle in the application and depends on how long the applicants work experience has been and how many family members are there. Usually, the eligibility will start immediately after the R10 is complete. Medicals may or many not have been passed by then. Usually around 45 days.

The BGC is the last thing to happen and is time consuming as it involves many factors. It starts when the eligibility is recommended passed by a program analyst.

You can read more on BGC here: https://goo.gl/7wQ5CT
