Text Messages

Hey guys. Still doing up my proof of relationship. I was wondering how you all printed off your text messages? I googled it, a lot said to just screen shot everything or download this app - it's pretty pricey. I'll spend money if I have to but I was just wondering how everyone else did theirs?

We did screen shots. Although, for the phone log, I downloaded a program that was free, and extracted the data. It didn't work perfect, and of course they want you to pay to get "more information" but it did that job. You can also copy + paste the convo if you have a MacBook and link your imessages.

If you have a android, there are a number of apps that will grab your text messages. The SMS database itself is a SQLite database I believe as well (easy to open and view if you know what you are doing), but you could just get a app to export it to a text file which will probably be the easiest.

We took a screen cap of the text messages and shrunk them down on Microsoft to fit about 4 on each page!

No need to go crazy, don't include every message ever. We just included a sampling of a few messages per month, some special, some routine, some horrible. You know, the kind of thing that shows that your relationship is real.

What CIC doesn't want is a 500 page application!
