Nice thread. My book is on order (I like paper).

Knew all bar the Italy one above! From the very bad PDF I tried to use on my Kindle but still concerned!

What does the Inuit mean in Inuktitut language?
"The People"

Hello, does anybody know if the test has questions specific to each province's government? Like MPs, premier, parties in power/opposition, that sort of thing? I'm in Vancouver by the way.

Any help is very much appreciated!

We are not allowed to discuss specific questions, but let's say it's good to know such information as a prospective citizen

I thought all the answers were in the book, which doesn’t list the current PM for example.

It IS part of the book. The page where you're supposed to fill the blanks with the current information such as current PM/provincial PM/Governor General is not optional and you can be quizzed over it... It's just not filled by default for obvious reasons.
Obviously, no one expects location specific questions such as the current MP of a person, since people from different electoral ridings have the same test at the same place, but the ones that are Canada or province wide may appear on a test.
Granted, apart from maybe the name of the lieutenant-governor, those are the easiest questions someone can get... :)

Ah my paper copy is still “in the mail”. Thanks.

I do actually know my current local MP ;)
Of course, this could all change by the time I get my test!

How many electoral districts are there in Canada?
The book says 308, however the book is dated, the current number is 338.

Even though the answer in the book is not the actual current answer you are expected to answer it per the book.
I asked my interviewer about it after my test about it and he said that the scantron that checks the test does it per the book even if the information is old.

There is a very slim chance such ambiguous questions will be asked in the exam. If it gets asked, 308 and 338 will most likely not be included together.
When in doubt, go with the book as it is the official study materials. As mentioned above, fill-in-the-blank questions included in the book are meant for up to date information that an individual should know.
