For the actual test...if we are unsure about a particular question, are we allowed to skip to the next question and come back to answer it later?

I am also wondering, are the questions in the actual test about as difficult (or relatively easy) like they are in the practice tests in different apps or are they harder?
Often, from the answers, at least 2 don't make sense and it is easy to figure out which is correct. When I look at the Guide, I can see so many harder questions they could ask.

Rakiura,

Study the booklet "Discover Canada Guide" and check for dates, names and places. It is very tricky. Online tests are good but the book is everything... Still, you will get 2-3 questions that are nowhere to be found in the book.

Hello All,

i am the unlucky one who failed the test just last Friday in Mississauga... because i dint not practice enough... i did not read the book not even one time.. last few days before the test i did some online practice where i was getting 80% result.. and the test day i got at least 10 questions which i have never seen on those online sites... i know stupid me but i have a very busy schedule at work and family.. my test result was 14/20... (Just one right answer would have changed the result lol)

i would highly recommend those who have upcoming test "DO NOT TAKE IT EASY" read the book as much as u can and then do the online tests.

Good luck every one !!!!

I always tell people not to just rely on the practice exams and apps. They do twist the words around to make the questions look different. Go over the book at least 2-3 times then do the practice questions.

Here is where my wife studied from plus she went over the book 3 times and scored 19/20.

Hi everyone,

My test is due very soon.

Based on your experience, are they asked questions about dates and names. Because most of the names are very hard to remember. Also do you guys remember only important dates or all dates.

Does anybody has summary of dates and names used in the books.

yes.. names and dates that you feel like you havent read in the book but actually its there but looks like not important but everything is important to remember.. read the books 3-5 times .. honestly.. if you read the book before you take the practice test.. you will pass the exam .. if your confident about the book ,, then do alot of practice test.. i think there are 5 sets of exam ..

Hanna,

They scored 14/20 which is just 1 short from the minimum 15/20. They let you know during the interview that takes place 5-15 minutes after the test is done. Very simple.

All the best,

SFD
