Hi. I took the test outside canada in december 2021 and i ve been waiting for 5 months. No progress on file since then.background and test status has been updated as completed. I applied from london. Anyone on the same boat?

I also had no updates for close to 7 months. recently they asked for my fingerprints a third time. i reached out to my local mp and were able to provide me with updates.

How did you write the email to them please? Did you state reasons why you are outside canada? I am just staying with family for some time, how do I write the email please

No need to tell them the reason. It's not their business. Just email them saying you wanna take test outside and they'll reply.

What should I do after sending the email requesting test outside Canada? Should I call them? Contact them on the webform? Or just wait?

Test given: Oct 7, 2021, spouse gave it from outside Canada
My status updated all completed except citizenship ceremony on Oct. 27, 2021. Spouse only BG and test updated.
Wrote emails, one web form and calls in April 2022
Spouse status updated except ceremony on May 27, 2022
Got Ceremony invite in May 30, 2022 for June 6 2022
Got the Certificate on June 16, 2022.

hi. I got the status update to take the citizenship interview on August 3. since I will be returning to Canada in September I've requested them to reschedule it. let's see how much wait time is for that.

I am in a similar (Outside Canada) situation, applied online in March 2022, AOR in April 2022, got my BG Completed on October 25, 2022 and received test invitation on October 27, 2022 (Window: Oct 31 - Nov 21, 2022).

I passed my test from Outside Canada on November 1, 2022 and until now my online tracker is still showing test in progress / 'waiting on you'.

What do you think would happen in our situation? Any idea?

I am so stressed not knowing what will happen next. Some people here in this forum mentioned that my file will be put on hold until I return back. Please advise what should I do next.

Appreciate your feedback on this.
