Terminated contract

Hello everyone,

I got a job offer from a Canadian employer and want to apply for Permanent residency ( Federal Skilled Worker Program/IT). I was just wondering, what would happen if the employer suddenly terminates the contract after I get my visa? Would I loose my PR status or can I just start to look for another job in Canada?
