Hi,
Once we submit document for work permit what are the process will be fallow. the procedure how long time will be take.

How long it will take depends on where you applied from. Generally anywhere from a few weeks to several months.

Hi there,

my partner's employer is going thru LMIA process at the moment in order to get a temporary work permit for my partner. The employer hired an immigration lawyer to help them with the whole process. They have just submitted LMIA application but something seems a bit odd to me.

The lawyer said there's no need to submit my partner's CV or any work experience letter neither with LMIA application nor the TWP application. Therefore when filling LMIA application the lawyer made up some work experience for my partner which he actually doesn't have (just to help them to get positive LMIA and to explain why he is the right candidate for the position). Isn't this a bit strange? I keep telling to my partner they must be checking on his real work experience and when they do, they will see he does have only a very little experience in that area but no one wants to believe me. Any ideas on that?

Your partner cannot apply for the work permit until the employer actually gets the LMIA. The LMIA application is to make sure no canadian wants or can do the job. This involves advertising the job. If the application is successful, THEN they can apply for the work permit.

The fact that the immigration lawyer is asking your partner to lie in order to get a job, is very unsettling and leads me to to question the lawyers validity. If you partner get's caught, he will be banned from Canada for misrepresentation (doesn't matter if the lawyer fills this in or your partner., possibly for five years.
