Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) for Mother

Dear All,

I am currently residing in Toronto as a Permanent Resident for the last 2 years. I now plan to invite my mother to Toronto, on a visit visa i.e. on a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV).

Now I have read the complete information for this online and have the forms with me. As per the information i have gathered so far, i would be the sponsor and my mother in Pakistan would be the applicant. But she would have to submit the form in Pakistan (to Islamabad). But there are certain visa offices here in Ontario as well.

Instead of letting my mother go through all the hassle, i want to fill in the form myself and ALSO submit the form somewhere here.

So the question is, can i submit the TRV for my mother here in Ontario OR there is no option here and ONLY she has to submit the form in Islamabad. My mother is old and ofcourse she would not be able to go through all this and run after this task.

Please help me out here and guide me in this process.

Inland TRVs are only available for workers and students.

Now, you can send everything online from Ontario. The system has no way to know (well, no interest in knowing) where is the computer used to file the application. Regardless, CIC will send the application to Islamabad office and all future hard copies of documents, interviews and/or requests will have to be done in Islamabad.

You did mention that "you can send everything online from Ontario" - do you know the link for this.

Also, just to summarize what you had replied, what you are saying that I can submit the forms and scan all the docs and submit it online here in Ontario. But then it's better to send everything to my mother, so that, if she is called for an interview or if they come back with any queries or questions, she would be able to answer them with the same docs. Right?
