Hi I am staying in Canada & recently my work permit extension got approved.
Based on my work permit approval , I have applied for my TRV visa(with in Canada) on Aug 12th 2020. I haven't heard back any thing from IRCC.

How much time does it usually takes for TRV Visa?
Anybody who applied recently got any update from IRCC ?

TRVs are taking a number of months right now.

Hope you are doing well. May I know when did you applied for work permit extension ?? A lot of threads mentioning extension of work permit is taking longer nowadays. So, looking at your approval, was curious to know your timeline for work permit extension.

I just received Biometrics correspondence letter for my TRV.

Closed work permit extension submitted on March 26,2020
Approved on May 28,2020
TRV Visa submitted on Aug 12th, 2020.
Received Biometrics correspondence letter for my TRV on Sep 9th, 2020.
Application approved, Passport request received : Sep 10th, 2020
