Sorry to see its taking way too long for you. Trust me it's always a nightmare to deal with Ottawa whether it's visa or pr application. They wont even give you any straight answer and tell you why the processing time is long etc. I guess the current policy is to make immigration easier for people who are applying from outside Canada. I wish there are some sensitive people out there who would understand difficulties of people living in their own backyard. BTW I applied 6 weeks ago, no response yet. I knew it may take ages to have anything processed inside Canada so I didn't book any ticket.Cool Guy said:

The timeline posted on CIC site is normally their AVERAGE PROCESSING TIME based on a COMPLETE PACKAGE from the previous applicants (it means the time it took CIC to process previous applicants).meg20122 said:HI GUYS!

ON OCTOBER.
It did not mention that they will process it based on that. Some applicants require more documents or extensive reviews thus making the processing of the application longer.
Also average would mean (e.g.):
Applicant 1 - 10 Days
Applicant 2 - 15 Days
Applicant 3 - 5 days
- Average is 10 days. So who knows you might be the applicant 2 or 3.
Just a suggestion, give it more time when you apply and schedule your travels accordingly.
