Temporary Foreign Workers - March - New Delhi Applicants

Hello,

After receiving a Job Offer from my Canadian Employer, We have taken a named LMO & later applied for a Work Permit for myself & Open Work Permit for my Spouse & a Temporary Residence visa for my dependent son on 19th March 2013 through VFS Bangalore.
As i was staying in Dubai for more than 1 year before the date of applying, i was not requested for Medical Till Date.
As well there is no updates about my application from Canadian High Commission New Delhi till date, i was not requested for any additional documentation nor any medical request as said above.
When i check the status of my application through VFS website online, this is what i see.

Your Passport Status
Passport received at Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 20/03/2013 and is under processing.

My question is, how much time it takes for Visa Package (as specified above for family) processing at New Delhi, India?
Also people who have applied for similar case in March 2013 through CHC New Delhi, Please share your thoughts & timelines.
Please help me in this regard as i am getting quite frustrated in this matter.

Hi All,
I have LMO from Canadian company and applied for Canadian work permit visa on 11-March-2013 at Hyderabad, India VFS.

My visa status shows as below.
"Your Passport Status
Passport received at Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 12/03/2013 and is under processing."
Its been more than 2 months, i have sent a mails and letter through VFS no response yet

Anyone anybody please help how to proceed...

My friends are in the same situation, its been 2 months, the vfs gave them a date within 3 weeks. I wonder if it would be faster to go to the embassy and submit directly. I think the vfs is overpaid for checking an application.


Do the VFS provide any value? :(

Have either of you received the work permits? I applied for ICT work permit on 25th March at the New Delhi VFS office and my application status also says 'under processing'.

Any updates on your end?

Maini.....any update from you? i have also applied for ICT work permit on 7th May and waiting for the result

hello friend have u received any mail from canada embassy regarding your medical test or another...?
