Hello everyone,
I want to confirm my understanding of this program to hire a nanny from overseas.
We live in Quebec. Here are the steps i understood:
1. Create a company and all the details need to be able to pay the worker you will hire
2. Post an ad on guichet emploi and 2 other platforms for 3pm tha minimum.
3. If no one is found, i can apply for a LMIA (with the person I chose overseas)
4. If the LMIA is positive, the worker can apply for a closed permit (TEF,biometrics and medical will be needed during the process?
5. After 2 years of working full time the worker will be able to apply for PR
Does the worker needs any education requirements?

Follow the guidelines for hiring a foreign worker/nanny for Quebec.
1. Yes
2. Yes. Keep track of who applied and who you interviewed to prove your outland candidate is the best choice.
3. Yes.
4. Yes. If a relative then further scrutinized because you have to prove that person is the only one who can care for your children - education (ECA), language, work experience.
5. Worker would have to eligible through Quebec Immigration or move outside Quebec. Yes education is required for PR programs. Read through Quebec Immigration programs for PR or HCCP if moving outside Quebec and meets those requirements.
