TEMPORARY FOREIGN WORKER GETTING MARRIED INSIDE CANADA

Hi Guys, I need help about something.

I am a Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW-LMIA) here in canada. Me and My Girlfriend (a Canadian Citizen) are planning to get married on spring next year.
My question is, If i resign in my current job one month before the wedding, there will be no problem right? i mean i can definitely stay here in canada? My Work Visa and work permit will expire in 2018. Im still with status is that correct?

Does anyone been in the same situation? Can you please advise me. Thank you.

Hi

Yes, you will be able to stay while your work permit is valid. However, as it is a closed work permit, you will not be able to work anywhere else.
