Hello, recently, I received some letter from the CIC, it says:

Dear ......

I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete.

You have been selected to participate in a telephone interview for the purpose of obtaining permanent resident (PR) status in Canada. Your application for permanent residence will be finalized during a telephone interview that has been scheduled for:

Date: MARCH, 2018.

Time: ......

Duration of interview: 15 minutes

Please confirm your and your sponsor’s presence by completing the attendance form by February 1, 2018 in order for our office to send you further instructions.

So, I am kind of worry, what they will ask and how to prepare for the interview
Please if somebody had this, tell me what is going on because I am very nervous about this

Thank you
Kate

It's not a real interview and you don't need to prepare for it. They will ask a few simple questions to confirm the info on the COPR.

Thank you for the answer, I am really glad to hear that, what kind of simple questions are they, could you give me an example, please?

Convictions, dependents, address.

I got the same email, they said they will finalize the application during the call. But they still have completed my background check and didn’t even ask my fingerprint.

What’s more, I have no idea how and where I should send the attendance confirmation to them
