I'm a US Citizen working for a US company, looking for issues with telecommuting during my visits. (Example: drive across the border for a long weekend, continue my normal work from a coffeeshop during the days I'm there.)
It seems like there should be no issues, but I need official proof, and can't find it. (And really, this seems like such an easy question!)
I can't find anything official from the US perspective.
From Canada's perspective, it looks like a non-issue, since it wouldn't even be considered work:

- My company has no presence in Canada.
- I am not interacting with any person or company in Canada in any way in the course of my work, regardless of where I do it from.
- I will be in Canada for less than a week at a time, significantly less than 6 months per year total (more likely 3 months at most).

- long distance (by telephone or Internet) work done by a temporary resident whose employer is outside Canada and who is remunerated from outside Canada;
