Hi guys,
I need 4 in TEF and I got 323 equivalent to 2 from my previous exam in expression orale, so I seated for another exam and this time i got 192 in compréhension orale equivalent to 1 and 248 in expression écrite equivalent to 1 and since the responsible association for examination arrangement told me there's a difference between IELTS and TEF here and I was able not to seat for expression orale if I am satisfied with, I didn't participate. But now my agent told me the officer doesn't accept the higher score from different examination and they should be from the same one. I need someone to kindly make me sure that how the officer is going to treat my case from this approach. By the way, I re-checked it with the delegation of TEF and they re-confirmed what they already told me.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards.

As of right now, only the General IELTS is accepted in the CEC stream.

1. It is the same for TEF as for IELTs CIC/CHC will only accept the score from one session, they won't mix and match from different sessions.

Hi PMM,

Are you sure about that? Is there any official source? I heard for TEF Canada you can pass all the exams or only 1 or 2 but then you will get another certification number while EE are asking for only 1 certification number.

I just to improve only 1 exam which is Reading so thinking of passing it and if asked for document provide both certification one from the first session where all is good expect Reading (CLB 7) and the other one from the second session with only Reading results (Hopefully a CLB 8)

What do you think about this? Is there any risk?

Hi casadog!

So did you use two sessions together?
I will take TEF Canada for Ontario French Speaking SW and most probably I will have a similar situation.
Love to hear from you and from anyone who has information regarding this.
