My hubby and I met on World of Warcraft. We met each other in game in May, visited once in August, got engaged on the 4th day of actually meeting in person (we spent 5 days together). 3 weeks later he moved here to Canada and we got married 3 weeks later. I'm 10 years older than him to boot. Neither of us had met any of our family and submitted about 25 photos in our application. We did submit additional evidence a few months in (photos of him with my Dad, photos of me with his Mom, Aunt and Uncle). My hubby had a misdemeanor on his FBI report which was expunged in his State and with all these red flags, we successfully went through the process. If we did it, anybody can. Mind you, we just received our PPR and we're now over the 10 month processing time for LA, so it kinda shows that the process doesn't go as smooth if your case has some issues.
